The stiletto's that belonged to Alyss Gregory clicked along the stone floors of the seventh level corridor. Alyss was never seen without stiletto's. They made her a status symbol, or so they did within her mind. It proved that she was in a higher status seeing as they were terribly expensive and extremely impressive. Though those stiletto's stood for everything that she truly wanted, it never filled the void of what she really didn't have. But Alyss would never let anyone know that on the outside. That's what made her so closed off to people. They never could know the real Alyss Michell Gregory. No one was worth that time and effort. No one had even tried. Maybe if someone actually put forth effort to get to know the Slytherin bad girl then just maybe they would see a side of her that was actually caring and passionate. But until that person rolled along into her life it was best just to keep on the mysterious cold side of things.
All I want is a place to be me... Is that such a horrible request? Alyss thought to herself when stumbling across what seemed to be just an ordinary wall. Alyss had never paid a well overdue trip to the room of requirement. Actually she never really believed that there was such a thing. Anytime that she had went in search of it, nothing ever happened. Luckily, this time it did. A door appeared in front of her and she looked at the wall completely astonished by what had happened. This must be the room of requirement. I thought it was only a myth. Putting a hand on the door handle, Alyss pulled it open slowly, hearing the door creak softly as she started to step into the room.
It was absolutely perfect. The room was all in a dark crimson red with black adornments around the place. There was a large fireplace that held a roaring fire and pillows placed around the floor to make it comfortable to sit in front of that warmth. Alyss sighed and let herself smile, closing the door behind herself and walking over to the pillows sitting down then laying back against them looking at the ceiling. So many things ran through the girls mind, but she couldn't really focus in on one. There were so many questions to be answered, so many things to be accomplished.

of stilettos and saw the girl in them open the door to the room. "Shit," he said, watching Alyss get to there just seconds before him. Alyss intimidated the shit out of Kevin, partially because stilettos are the knives of the footwear world, partially because she was about a year older than him, but mostly because she was damn scary even without those factors. Kevin watched Alyss slip into the room, and saw the be-pillowed sanctuary she had wished for. He decided to go in there and hope for the best, because the fact of the matter was that he was curious. Scary girl in a room of pillows? What the hell could that be about? So, absent-mindedly carrying his instruments, Kevin walked past the door three times, wishing: I need the room with all the pillows. Come on, pillows. Pillows are awesome. The door appeared and Kevin, trying his best not to look guilty, walked in.[/ul]

Alyss' eyes started to close when the door clicked open and in walked a peculiar person that she had never seen before. Of course, Alyss hadn't "seen" a lot of people before. The girl was oblivious to most of the people around her because she found that it just wasn't worth her time to pay any attention to them. Opening her eyes all the way to see who the boy was she sneered, sitting up and turning to face him. "What are you doing here boy?" She asked in that voice that was oh so calm but held a hundred knives in them. Not just any knives, sharp long knives that could pierce through you skin without any effort at all. Standing up, she tossed her hair over to the side, her black robes billowing behind her. The look she gave this boy would remind anyone of a Malfoy, but the things her eyes held were more of Bellatrix Lestrange.
"How did you get in here boy? Did you follow me?" One foot fell in front of the other as Alyss proceeded to walk towards him, that look still held onto her face. Alyss may be a tad deranged but she wouldn't let it show unless it was completely needed. "I don't like people prying in my personal business. I don't like it at all." Alyss' eyebrow rose as she stood in front of the boy, hands on her hips lightly but in an intimidating way. "Do you know what I do to intruders boy?" Alyss waited a second to let the deranged anger expose itself a bit onto her face before saying much louder, "Do you?!" and getting up into his face. Her eyes pierced into his, holding the glare until she abruptly turned and went back to her plethora of pillows.
Thinking, Alyss sat down and sighed, knowing that that was exactly the reason she could never have people close to her. The thought depressed her but she also had the feeling of "who gives a fuck".

like I followed you?" he asked, doing his best to sound braver than he felt. "Because most people don't carry instruments for the purpose of following someone they don't know." He was starting to feel a bit pissed off, more at the girl's presumption than anything. Kevin hated being ordered about. Bitches at Hogwarts were just like bitches anywhere else with the unfortunate ability to cast what he assumed would be particularly nasty magic. Maybe that's why he sat down on a particularly large pillow. Maybe that's why he glared. Maybe that's why he plugged in the guitar and started tuning it. He noted with some delight that his hunch was right: the Room of Requirement could make a place where, if there was any magic, it wouldn't distort electrical circuits. The sound was a little off. Kevin took that to mean the room wasn't void of magical disturbance. His eyebrows twitched in annoyance, but his face quickly returned to its standard expression. Kevin never could pull off anger for very long. Finally, he decided to talk again, figuring he couldn't get in any more trouble with the girl than he already was. "So. What's with all the pillows?" he asked. [/ul]
